Frederick's Bounty

Harriet is a freelance commercial and portrait photographer specializing in architecture, people and product advertising. She resides in Frederick.
Her photographs appear in magazines, advertising, books, calendars and galleries. Notable book projects include "Pennsylvania's Forbes' Trail" p.2008, "This Green Oasis, A History of Baker Park" 1928-2003", "Frederick's Legacy, The Art of Helen Smith" p.1999, and "Cape May for All Seasons".
For the past 26 years Harriet has created the "Bach Calendar" for Bach & Associates. It features themes in Frederick County.
Creating special photographs for a diverse clientele has been a constant goal. She credits her success to a love of light, pattern, color, people and problem solving. No two photos are the same.
Her personal work, both fine art and stock, is a continuing study of light, shadow and form in a variety of subject matter.
Harriet has been a professional photographer since 1975 and is a member of the following local organizations:
